Landscape Architect/Designer Sales Position
Grow Landscapes is an award-winning swimming pool contractor/landscape design and construction firm with a reputation for excellence in all aspects of outdoor living spaces design and construction. Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Landscape Sales/Design Representative to design & close sales in our award-winning landscape firm. As a Sales/Design Representative with Grow Landscapes, you will meet with customers to gather information about their goals and specific requirements.
Additional tasks of the Landscape Sales/Design Representative include:
• Develop landscape design that meet customer specifications
• Provide complete take offs and estimates for landscapes, hardscapes and carpentry. Swimming pool knowledge preferred but not required, we will train.
• Present design and/or proposals to customers
• Overcome objections and obstacles to close sales
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis
• Maintain professional and technical trade knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Knowledge of current and potential costs of materials and equipment rental rates
• Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company’s delivery schedules
• Ensure all job notes are accurately prepared for smooth transition to Project Crews
• Follow up with customer post-sale, perform weekly walk-throughs throughout the project to ensure customer is satisfied
Qualifications
As a Landscape Sales/Design Representative with Grow Landscapes, you must possess superb communication and interpersonal skills as well as exceptional organizational skills. Our ideal Landscape Sales/Design Representative is a responsible team player who deems our company’s best interests a priority and has a desire to learn and grow with us. You must also be able to multi-task and thrive within a high-pressure work environment. The job requires a very strong work ethic, persistence and a desire to succeed. Additional requirements for the Landscape Sales/Design Representative include:
· A degree in Landscape Architecture preferred
• 2 to 4 years of experience in landscaping design; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Horticulture Background
• 2 years (min) Design Education
• 2 years (min) of Landscape Experience
• Knowledge of one or more multiple design software programs
• Be familiar with industry standards for construction of hardscapes such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, decks, porches, pool pavilions etc. Swimming pools a plus but not required; we will train.
• Working knowledge of plant material and hardscape
• Ability to create dynamic landscape designs OR willingness and desire to learn how to design

This construction superintendent will be responsible for the quality and consistency of the construction process from the moment a project is sold to delivery of finished project. Primary job duties will include the following: provide oversight and manage day to day construction, maintain a schedule, assist with plan review and cost estimating, interact with sub-contractor and employees, review and approve invoices on assigned projects, schedule county inspections and meet with inspectors.

Assistant to Project Manager
Grow Landscapes, Inc. has been providing Full Service Landscaping for clients in the Northern Virginia area for over 20 years. We currently are looking for a full time Assistant to Project Manager. Duties to include but not limited to returning phone messages, scheduling zoom and in person appointments, updating team calendars and CRM, data entry, document scanning, contacting vendors and sourcing materials. Customer service, QuickBooks and Spanish language experience are very helpful but not required.
